There service is sweet . There good is out of this world. You definitely get what you pay for plus some. Good family oriented restaurant. If you are hungry,I suggest you go there, you won't leave hungry. Yum yum!!!
I ordered the senior meatloaf with two sides for $9.85. My wife had the strawberry crepe. I had a salad with French dressing and chicken noodle soup. My meatloaf dinner included green beans and mashed potatoes. I was amazed at how large my side salad was and how fresh the lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes were. My waitresses then brought a big bowl of chicken noodle soup which was hot and delicious. We were amazed at the quality and quantity of the food!
Calm peaceful atmosphere, waitress was very friendly and helpful. Their mushroom Swiss burger was delicious and we love the fries.
Breakfast is great. Lunch and dinner is not that great. A lot of bland food and sometimes over cooked. But like I said breakfast is excellent. The service is excellent. And food prices aren't bad.
We were driving through on a road trip and decided that this should be a good place for lunch. A small college town with the river running through it... Seemed like a good setting. The downtown area looked pretty nice but all the restaurants were closed on that particular Sunday. Not sure if that is a normal thing or not but this was a sign to consult Yelp! Cosmos is a little outside of the downtown area but got good reviews. Seems like the go-to place for the locals, a restaurant that has been a favorite across several generations. Frankly most of the folks there had more grey hair than we do but everyone seemed to be having a good time. With a wide variety of choices, from all-day breakfast to comfort food entrees to greek food, it would be hard to find something appealing. We each found a few things that caught our fancy and both settled on breakfast, a skillet for me and biscuits and gravy for my wife. AMPLE amount of food at AMAZINGLY good prices. The most affordable meal we have had in months, and we were stuffed. With prices that good, it was easy to give an extra good tip! So if you are in Defiance and looking to fill your belly, this is the place to go!!
This is the most extensive menu I've ever seen. Almost anything you could possibly want to eat is an option. It's got a 'home town' vibe. I heard the servers asking several patrons if they wanted their usual order. It's clean and the decor is eclectic. The service was very attentive and fast for a busy lunch time. The food was good. There were healthy options which is why I went there. Overall very nice place and would highly recommend.
